Nestled in a charming English village, the Cotswold Cottage is a quintessential example of traditional architecture, crafted from the iconic Cotswold Stone and crowned with a picturesque thatched roof. Recently, Bee from @osborninteriors took on the thoughtful renovation of this cottage, meticulously refining every detail to achieve a seamless design that flows beautifully throughout the exterior and interior.

Inside, the cottage is a treasure trove of distinct rooms, each linked by a unified décor theme. The colour scheme is understated and tranquil, with soothing tones of beige, cream, and white dominating the palette.

The home’s character is further enhanced by its unique features, such as windows set into charmingly uneven walls, topped with authentic wooden beams. These painted frames are beautifully complemented by From The Anvil's Aged Bronze Reeded window furniture. The Reeded collection, known for its timeless Regency-inspired engravings, perfectly highlights the cottage’s historic charm.

To ensure both security and style, the Reeded fasteners were matched with Aged Bronze stays for the windows. The owners extended this consistency by selecting door hardware in the same Aged Bronze finish, opting for door knobs and lever handles to tie the look together. The deep, rich tones of Aged Bronze were an ideal choice, enhancing the cottage’s soft, neutral interior.

At the entrance, the front door is adorned with an Aged Bronze lever lock set and a matching letter plate & cover, carefully set against a taupe backdrop.
