Terms of Delivery

Free delivery for standard orders over £60

  • Free delivery for all standard UK Mainland* deliveries with a net value of £60 and over. This excludes doors & other items which require palletised delivery with an additional surcharge.

 

Standard delivery for orders under £60

  • All standard orders to the UK Mainland* with a net value of less than £60 will be charged a standard £5.40 carriage rate. his excludes doors & other items which require palletised delivery with an additional surcharge.

 

Long length delivery

  • Extra large items (including, but not limited to, curtain poles, window winders, sliding door kits, and door pull handles) where parcels exceed 1m length cost £17.50 to ship to UK Mainland*. Long length delivery may incur an additional carriage fee. Please contact us for more information.

From The Anvil Hardware, Lighting & Homeware

Delivery

  • Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours of payment.
  • Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.
  • For addresses in the UK Mainland*, we aim to deliver your order within 48 business hours of receipt of payment.
  • Goods require a signature upon arrival at the delivery address state on your order form between 8am and 3pm.
  • If there are delays, we’ll do our best to keep you informed at all times, including the expected delivery time.
  • Orders that are returned to us as undelivered will incur a chargeable fee of £10 for carriage, plus VAT and administration costs.
  • Once the goods have been delivered (and not before), you become the owner of the products, making them your responsibility. At this point, we are not liable for any subsequent damage, loss, or destruction of the goods.
  • Please note, if your parcel does not arrive, you cannot submit a missing parcel claim until 15 working days after dispatch.

 

International Delivery

  • We can ship internationally, but the cost of delivery will vary based on your shipping location. Please note that we may be unable to deliver to certain countries.
  • Customers are responsible for all customs taxes/duties, the amount will vary on the order value and this will be communicated via the delivery company, these will be in addition to the delivery charges agreed as per order acknowledgements.

Bespoke Doors

Delivery

  • Standard delivery 2 - 3 working days from dispatch for mainland UK with the Palletforce Network.
  • Kerbside delivery only.  It is the customers responsibility to move items to a safe location once delivered by Palletforce, and we will not be liable for any damages incurred while doing so.
  • There is no requirement for a forklift on the receiving end as Palletforce delivery vehicles have tail lifts.
  • Doors are delivered on a double pallet; pallet height will vary depending on the number of doors.  Maximum height up to 2.2m if the door/s are standing.
  • We allow 48 hours from the time of delivery for the detailed checking of goods and expect any concerns to be raised with us within that period, and critically before items are adjusted or installed.
  • Mainland UK delivery starts at £65.00. Express delivery or extenuating circumstances may incur additional charges. Anything outside mainland UK including Scottish Highlands and offshore will incur an additional charge. Please enquire with our sales team.
  • All items within a single order will be dispatched and shipped within a single delivery as standard. In some instances, you may order items which are out of stock or on a lead time, should you require these items prior to any others becoming available there will be an additional delivery charge.  Please contact us and speak to a member of the team for further information.
