Absolutely! Our Marine 316 Stainless Steel finishes have been meticulously designed to offer exceptional corrosion-resistance. Both our Polished and Satin Marine SS finishes have surpassed over 1,000 hours of salt testing which means they'll keep their appearance even in the most polluted and salt-rich coastal environments.
Both our Polished and Satin Marine products are crafted from an immensely durable base of grade 316 stainless steel.
As suggested by the name, Polished SS is extensively polished and buffed to create a high-sheen finish, whereas Satin SS creates a low-sheen, more matte look.
From time to time, we recommend using a soft, clean cloth and some mild soapy water to reduce unnecessary pollutants building up on the surface of the product. After cleaning, immediately dry the product with a soft, dry cloth to remove any residue and prevent smears.
The cleaning advice varies slightly between Polished and Satin Stainless Steel so make sure you check the information on the relevant finish page, or in the Care & Maintenance section underneath a specific product.
For all types of Marine 316 Stainless Steel, we recommend regularly oiling all moving parts with From The Anvil's 3-in-1 oil to increase the longevity of your products.
