What are your Aged Bronze products made from?

All our Aged Bronze products are manufactured from solid bronze, which is an alloy of copper, tin, and a small amount of other metals. Our Aged Bronze products contain a minimum of 85% copper but its dark apperance is the result of an accelerated ageing process.

How are your Aged Bronze products manufactured?

Our Aged Bronze products are forged from a base of solid bronze. Once this bronze is shaped, it undergoes an extensive ageing process which creates the rich, dark tones characteristic of Aged Bronze. This is protected with a clear, durable lacquer which adds a matt texture to the surface of the product.

How do I maintain my Aged Bronze products?

Avoid using Brasso or any other cleaning products on this finish as they may disturb the lacquer.

To clean, simply buff with a dry, soft cloth. We would also advise regular oiling of all moving parts with From The Anvil's 3-in-1 oil, including during initial installation.
