What is a door pull used for?

Much like an escutcheon, a door pull fits over a rim or euro cylinder to tidy up the keyhole. They have a finger pull at the bottom which allows you to pull the door shut from the outside.

Do I need a Euro door pull or a rim cylinder pull?

Euro door pulls are designed for use with a Euro profile lock and a Euro cylinder.

Rim cylinder pulls are designed for use with rim cylinders found in night latches.

What's the difference between a standard Euro door pull, and one with back to back fixings?

A standard Euro door pull is surface-fixed to the exterior side of the door. It is only visible and accessible from one side of the door.

A back to back Euro door pull has bolts which go all the way through the width of the door. The door pull is visible and accessible on both sides of the door.
