We offer lots of styles of door knockers with two main fixing mechanisms.

The first is a bolt-through style which is attached via bolts that span the entire width of the door. The second is a surface-fixed style, in which the knocker is secured to the exterior surface of the door with a series of screws.

This guide details how to fit our surface fixed door knocker sets. We've chosen our Ring Door Knocker as an example, but all our surface fixed knockers include the same parts and are fitted in the same way.

All you need for this DIY is a pencil, drill, drill bits, hammer, and your chosen door knocker!Diagram of From The Anvil's Pewter Ring door knocker with labels pointing to the knocker, slotted screws, and strike pin.
